We all need a little guidance from time to time and we all need to get dressed! As a style consultant I provide professional advice tailored to your specific needs. Whether you're feeling lost in your style, too busy to shop, or unsure of what looks best on you, I can help you to streamline the process. I assist in finding outfits that make you feel confident and put together, making getting dressed more enjoyable. The services and tools I have can help you to find the right colours and clothing shapes to suit you

Where should I start?

You can choose to start with Colour Analysis or a Personal Style Analysis . Let me explain the difference and why you need both services...

Colour Analysis helps you to identify your best colours. The first step is a warm vs cool analysis to identify your undertones and then step two identifies your season as either a spring/summer/autumn/winter. The session includes a makeup demo so you can try our quality makeup and check which tones of colour work best for you. Included in this session is a colour fan, colour booklet and a link to MyHOCLookbook for personalised shopping recommendations. We will also discuss hair colour and the ideal metals for jewellery, glasses and accessories.

Style Analysis brings together three elements to create your signature style: body geometry, personality and lifestyle. It is a session dedicated to you so that I can create your 'clothing personality' and help you to identify, clothing shapes, patterns, fabrics so that you know what to look for. You receive a workbook and bespoke recommendations helping you to find what you need in the shops. You can add on a wardrobe review or personal shopping session if you need additional guidance. Colour analysis (approx two hours) and style analysis (approx four hours) can be done in one day or as separate sessions.

Whether you choose to start with Colour or Style Analysis, the investment in a personal stylist can result in a wardrobe that makes you feel more confident and organised for every aspect of your life.

Online vs face to face services - does it cost more? 

DIY approaches might seem tempting! As a stylist I bring professional expertise that you can’t easily replicate online.You may have seen colour analysis on social media sites and think that it can be done by looking at your hair, eye colour and veins. It doesn't work like this! Our process is thorough, based in science and only carried out in natural daylight. I have trained extensively with House of Colour to be able to assess your colours confidently. If analysed properly you only need to have it done once - your colours do not change if you tan or when you age. We tested online analysis during lockdown and there are too many variables to be able to confidently and accurately assess colours online. You are paying for our expertise and the very high quality materials you receive in your session as well as ongoing support. I currently charge £275 per person for a one to one session and £225pp for a group session (two or more people attending).

Will I need to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes?

The short answer is no! It is highly likely that you will have plenty of items in your wardrobe that work perfectly well for you. Once you know your season and clothing personality we can work together to help you to phase out items that would be better replaced over time. This doesn’t mean you need to buy a whole new wardrobe. Instead, I'll help you mix and match items you love, phase out less flattering pieces over time, and introduce new staples gradually, ensuring a balanced, stylish wardrobe.

What payment methods do you have?

Klarna 'Pay in 3 installments' available. I can take payment via bank transfer or via Stripe if you prefer to pay by card. If you wish to purchase makeup in your session, I have a SumUp card machine to make it easy. For other arrangements, please get in touch.

Where are you based?

Sessions are held from my home studio in Shenfield, Essex. The nearest station is Shenfield (Elizabeth Line). I'm a short taxi ride from the station. No parking restrictions so it's very convenient to park nearby.

Discover your best colours

Our colour analysis session uses a unique and scientific process to determine your perfect colours. This is a friendly and relaxed session, conducted face-to-face in natural daylight. I start with a talk where you will hear about the science behind our process and then apply precision-dyed fabric drapes to reveal which colours harmonise with your natural skin tone. You take home a colour fan containing your season colours and a booklet to really help you embrace what you have discovered. With these tools you can shop with confidence. You will also sample our wonderful '90-second' make up and can purchase a kit to get you started straightaway.

£275 per person (2.5 hours) or £225 per person if two or more attend together (3.5 + hours).

What happens in a Style Session?

A style analysis session is an exciting experience for groups or individuals to discover your personal style and finally understand why some outfits feel ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. You will learn which patterns and shapes suit you best and learn how to get value from your clothes so that you achieve the best cost per wear from everything you buy. Get ready for an informative and life changing experience!

£375 per person (4 hours) or £325 per person if two or more attend together (5+ hours). Lunch included.

Make-up Refresh

It is good practice to review our make up routine regularly to make sure that we are addressing our current skincare needs and getting the most out of our make up. Good make up begins with good skin! I provide vegan-friendly, natural skincare products as a base before taking you through different looks for daytime and evening. This is great for anyone who is not confident using make up and would like the chance to practice in a safe space. It is a fun pamper session and a great refresher for anyone who would like to try some new products.

£100 per person (90mins) or £75 per person if two or more attend together.

Personal Shopping/Guided Shopping

If you have an important event to shop for, or you just want an expert on hand, I can arrange a personal shopping trip for you. We discuss the brief in advance, work out a plan of action and then meet to either shop in person or online. In-person shopping trips can be arranged at Westfield-Stratford, Lakeside or Bluewater. Additionally, I offer group guided shopping trips with existing clients which is an amazing experience to help you shop with confidence.

£150 for two hours. Additional time added £65 per hour

Wardrobe Review

Often booked alongside a style session, we meet to review your current wardrobe(s), discuss organisation, look at whether you have clothing suitable for your lifestyle and how to pull outfits together. You can also bring your wardrobe to me (i.e. the clothes you would like me to review)! This is a great session if you have a photo shoot booked and would like some guidance.

£150 for two hours. Additional time added £65 per hour
