A Personal Note on Finding Your Way Back to "You"
I know how it feels to let your wardrobe make you feel down or lacking in confidence. Before I became a stylist in Upminster, I spent years feeling disconnected from my reflection, hiding behind "safe" clothes that didn't represent the real me.
- The Struggle: Early in my teaching career, I tried to dress like everyone else but never felt comfortable in my own skin. Shopping was an exhausting chore and my "beauty routine" was just a swipe of pink Vaseline and mascara - a quick fix that ignored the professional, vibrant woman I wanted to be.
- The Turning Point: My family gifted me a colour analysis and the shift was electric. I started wearing my "wow" colours and - for the first time - lipstick! The world noticed my new energy; a child in my class even said, "You look really pretty today, Miss."
- The Formula: Completing a style analysis was the final piece. I learned to honour my unique body and personality rather than trying to fit a mould. I discovered a "quiet self-confidence" and realised that true style is simply being authentically true to yourself.

FAQs
Do you offer a taster colour analysis in Essex?
Yes! It’s called the Introduction to Colour Workshop. This mini-colour analysis identifies whether you suit warm or cool tones. If desired, you can also try products from the House of Colour cosmetics range that harmonise with you. The session costs £45 per person for a minimum group of three.
Is colour and style analysis only for women?
A definite NO! No matter you gender, age or background, personal colour and style is for all. I will make sure to tailor my session to your needs because you are worth it.
How do I book and what payment methods do you have?
To book an appointment, simply click here to see my availability and full range of services. Consultation payments are made securely online via Stripe and any extra products you purchase in my Essex home studio can be paid easily by card.
Where are you based?
Consultations are held from my home studio in Upminster, Essex. The nearest station is Upminster (District Line, C2C, Liberty Line). Near the station is the 346 or 248 bus which stops a short walk from my studio. If travelling by car, there should space to park along the road with no parking restrictions.

Colour Analysis

Experience the three essential components of our colour sessions:
First is our world-class, scientific draping process that we have refined for excellence and accuracy over the past four decades. Next, I will provide advice on jewellery, watches, glasses, and, when applicable, hair and makeup based on your season. Our makeup eliminates the guesswork, enhancing your natural beauty with colours perfectly suited to you. Finally, we’ll dive further into your season as we identify the best colours for both your casual and professional life, uncovering your collection of WOW colours.
You will leave your appointment equipped with a fan of your seasonal swatches and a tailored brochure filled with personalised tips and reminders specific to you, empowering you to confidently shop for and wear your new colours!
For optimal accuracy, arrive at your analysis without spray tans or makeup. Your privacy is paramount, so no photos will be taken or shared on social media without your consent.
I offer a friendly and relaxed colour analysis in Essex carried out face to face in natural daylight for the best possible results.
You will leave with a personalised colour fan along with FREE access to MyHoCLookBook. This is our bespoke style portal where I can share tailored clothing recommendations in your best colours and you can store photos of your own wardrobe to make getting dressed and shopping much easier.
It is a truly uplifting and confidence building experience and most clients say they wonder why they did not do it sooner.
Colour Analysis sessions can be delivered on a one to one basis for £275 or in a group setting for £225 per person. Maximum three people per session.
Colour Analysis for children is available for ages 13 and under at a special rate of £100 (without colour fan).
Colour Parties, involving a mini-colour analysis, can be delivered for £50 per person. Contact me for more details.

Discover the science and psychology behind personal style by unlocking the power of you. During a style analysis, I'll empower you to seamlessly combine your inner self with your outward appearance, so you can step out into the world radiating confidence as your authentic self.
We consider your proportions, personality, and preferences to give you a style framework - we call this a “Clothing Personality."
You will confidently know which fabrics, prints, patterns, accessories, necklines, details, and silhouettes flatter your unique body architecture best. By integrating your personality into this framework, our style analysis transcends mere fashion guidance, going a step further to help you identify how you feel in different styles and pieces, ensuring that your wardrobe not only reflects your style but also represents your individuality.
For this appointment, you’ll bring 5–10 items from your closet that you LOVE and 5–10 that make you wonder why you don’t feel good when putting them on. Together, we’ll use this information to help you discover why you gravitated toward and loved certain pieces and what it is about the others that weren’t working for you, saving you time and money in the future! At House of Colour, we believe clothing needs to be adjusted to you, not the other way around. It is our goal to make sure you feel your most confident as who you are and how you look right now.
You’ll leave with a book with detailed information specific to you that we’ll fill out during the appointment and a Clothing Personality card with keywords that will help guide you when shopping. If you’ve already had a colour analysis, this card can be inserted into your fan which will make shopping easy and efficient!
Personal Styling Consultations with House of Colour Upminster, Brentwood, Essex can be delivered one to one for £375 or in a group for £325 per person. Maximum three people per session.
Wardrobe Edit

This appointment is designed to apply all the knowledge you gained in your colour and/or style analysis and appointment and apply it to your own wardrobe. Together, we'll filter through the pieces you don’t wear so you can donate or resell them, keeping your closet free from clutter so you can better mix and match pieces in your wardrobe to create more looks with fewer items.
This process liberates your closet from clutter, empowering you to effortlessly mix and match pieces to unlock endless styling possibilities with fewer items.
Wardrobe Edits are a three hour service for £225 plus any travel costs if required.
Any additional time is priced at £75 per hour.
Personal Shopping

My House of Colour personal shopping service will make finding new clothing, shoes, jewellery and accessories hassle-free. As your personal stylist, I will be offering you my time, via this service, as your very own personal shopper. You can personalise how I use this time so that it is completely tailored to your objectives and desires.
Whether you are looking for the perfect outfit for a special event, refreshing your wardrobe for the latest season, or just want expert guidance on how to continue looking your best, my personal shopping services are shaped around you and your goals.
There are a number of ways for you to personalise our House of Colour personal shopping service, for example:
- We can shop together in person
- I can conduct online personal shopping for you, buying items that I know work with your unique features, characteristics and personality
- I can undertake online personal shopping for you, saving items I believe would illuminate you and you can browse and buy at your own pace later.
Let me help you get to clothes you love faster, easier and with my expert guidance, so you can wear what fits, what flatters, and what feels like you with ease.
