As I sat in Charlie's home studio during my Colour Analysis, I couldn't believe how fantastic I looked in my WOW colours and House of Colour makeup! I hadn't felt that good in a long time. Charlie was so bubbly and excitable throughout the session, and it was a pleasure being in her company and immaculate home. Since wearing my Autumn colours and make-up, I've received so many compliments. It's made me feel confident and happy just being 'me'. I am very much looking forward to booking a Style session. I was lucky enough to receive a gift voucher from my nieces. It’s been a challenging couple of years, and honestly, I think I lost myself a little bit. I stuck to drab, boring colours because it was easy.

One visit with Charlie and I’m excited about getting ready in the morning because I’m wearing colours that suit me and make-up, that’s really lovely. I always stuck with neutral colours, and now I’m wearing red lipstick regularly!! Never thought that would be me in 100 years.

We began by working out what colours suited me and what my WOW colours were. Over the years I’ve had various attempts at trying to work this out. Charlie led me through the process with real patience, explaining as we went along. She also showed me some great make-up options and a few tops tips.

The next session was all about my style personality and what shapes, cuts of clothes and fabrics would be good for me. Attempting to put it into practice the following weekend, I got so many compliments!

I booked a group colour analysis and makeup session with Charlie for myself, my mum, and my sister. We had been talking about getting our colours done for some time and with my sister's wedding on the horizon it felt like the perfect time to do so!
Charlie was incredibly welcoming from the offset and made us feel right at home. She explained the theory behind colour analysis with examples that really helped us to understand the science behind the process.
Charlie took her time when draping and it was eye opening. I had no idea that the right colours could even impact your face shape and make cheekbones and jaw lines appear more defined. I had always thought that I was an autumn season like my mum and sister, but it transpired that I am in fact a winter. I tried colours I would never have previously considered and am going to have a wardrobe revamp now! Similarly, she was able to discuss the best hair colours for the autumn season with my mum, and we were able to focus on the best wedding dress colours for my sister.
Charlie's makeup tips were fantastic and she truly went above and beyond to ensure that the session was as sucessful as possible. She is warm, professional, and knowledgeable; I can't thank her enough for the session.

I had some past experience of colour me beautiful which gave me an interest in knowing what colours suited me. For years I thought I was a summer, but I wanted to know for sure, so I took the plunge and treated myself to a colour analysis session with Charlie for my birthday. From the moment I walked in I felt at home in Charlie’s beautiful house. She was bubbly, had a real passion for colour and style, made me feel cared for and provided a really special experience. As Charlie draped colours on me, I could see for myself that I was ‘warm’ rather than ‘cool’ and was shocked to find that I was Autumn. Although I wasn’t expecting this, it was exciting to see how my new colours made me look so much healthier and how they really enhanced my eye colour. Charlie was so knowledgeable about makeup and style, and I loved the tips she taught me while doing my makeup. The experience was well worth the investment. I went away on a high realising how much more confident I can feel wearing the right colours and makeup.

Finding Charlie on the House of Colour website was the best thing I did this month. My day with her (colour review and style review) was great.  So eye opening to see my skin change just with different coloured clothes and to find a style that fits my personality has been fab.  Charlie takes the time to get to know you before the appointment as well which helps on the day.  She explained everything with ease and is truly knowledgeable about fashion and make up. Well worth the money.
