It's so easy to follow a friend's lead on an occasion like this. If she's wearing a floaty dress, you might reach for something similar. But that won't be the best choice for everyone. Styling at its best is not about fashion trends or conformity, it's about finding what works for you.

Colour is doing more work than you think

If you want to look refreshed, even after a poor night's sleep, your best colours do an awful lot to lift your complexion. In the brightest summer daylight you will really benefit from having your best colours around you. If you know your wow colours, this is an occasion to wear them proudly. Just because the players are in white doesn't mean you can't choose to wear something bold. If you're unsure what to reach for, try a true poppy red (a trending colour this season) or a navy if you prefer a darker neutral. Pair with your best red lipstick or Butter Balm to look polished and put-together.

The accessories that earn their place

Your bag needs to be practical but can absolutely be stylish too. A tote size will be useful in case you need to carry an extra layer or umbrella. Your style words will dictate how structured, soft, textured, or delicate it should be. A hat or sun visor is essential, especially if we are lucky enough to get sunshine. And please do not forget your sunglasses! The right style and shape will add the perfect finishing touch to your whole look.
