My wardrobe was in need of a serious revamp, but after years of prioritisng family, home & work, I really didn't know how.

I met Hilary through a networking group, and confess that at first I was a little sceptical of colour analysis in clothing!  Hilary's enthusiasm and passion for the subject is inspiring so I booked both colour and style consultations.  

Wow. So glad I did! Armed with a world of information about what clothes are truely right for me, I have enjoyed a shopping trip for the first time in 20 years!  The reaction from others has been amazing and so positive, but the real power lies in the difference in how I feel. Walking out of the door knowing I am showing the best version of me is incredibly empowering.

Totally inspired. I found the tips about wearing colours close to the face/not close to the face, making use of pops of colour and incorporating seasonal colours into patterns really useful. Trying new lipstick colours really took me out of my comfort zone, but there is not question that the right colour lipstick really finishes an outfit. I am going to work on being braver with lipstick!

I just want to give a huge thanks toHilary Cryer following her fantastic Joyful Wardrobe Edit session that I did with her recently. I didn't really know what to expect from the session but to say I now have joy from my wardrobe is an underestimate. Infact I've been surprised how rewarding and uplifting its been to gift myself permission to sort my "wardrobe' into a wonderful space that I love.

Having lived with a 'temporary' hanging rail in a room also often used as a box room too, I hardly ever used this space, only going in there for absolute necessity and sourcing clothing from the large piles of clothes I am famous for leaving around the house 😂.

Following Hilarys session, she inspired me to see what a wonderful opportunity I had to create a fabulous dressing room. As a result of the session I had a major wardrobe weed and got rid of all the clothes that are really not my colour palette and that deep down I know inwont wear again.

I got some better wardrobe organisation, basics like trouser and scarf hangers and made the big step of getting a dressing table (fair to save this feels life changing alone!!)

I finally got a full length mirror as we haven't actually ever had one in the house !

What I also learnt from Hilary is how to combine colours and to be more adventurous in using colours that compliment each other together. She is really talented and has such a eye for putting outfits and accessories together. Now that I have an organised wardrobe I can now see the gaps in terms of some key outfit pieces that are missing and I can see what outfits I can put together much more clearly. I'm so delighted with the outcome and I now feel much more confident about what to buy and know how to enhance the clothes I already have.

I really liked my syle session and enjoyed going through my clothes with you, I think it was extremely beneficial as I could see how my style fitted in with what i already had in my wardrobe.  I have already started applying it to my wardrobe.

I can’t thank you enough for Saturday, it was great to watch how my colours came together. (sorry for being challenging)

Hilary was absolutely fantastic and left me and my sister so enthused about the whole experience! We've since had our mum and other sister visit to get their colours done as well as my sisters partner. My partner will be booking in a few months time soon.
