I am Helen Redhead and I cover the Chester, Wrexham, Flintshire and Denbighshire areas as a House of Colour Stylist with over 7 years experience and 2 years running as Star Consultant.
I had Colour Analysis and can honestly say that it changed my life and even more so after having my Personal Style session. The 'wardrobe monster' was defeated!!! I will no longer make costly mistakes and I am very happy to receive lots of compliments about the way I look.
My background is in the beauty therapy/cosmetic industry, being a House of Colour Stylist is a fabulous natural extension of that and wasn't an opportunity to be missed.
I am very passionate about the processes and I can't wait to meet clients, old and new, to guide them through this amazing journey and give them the tools to feel and look the very best they can. My commitment is to help you find this confidence for yourselves. I see Colour and Personal Style classes as part of our personal self-development journey. Hi Helen, Thank you for a really lovely day on Wednesday. I must say I am looking at everyone and everything with a new and enhanced view of colour ! I was pleasantly surprised to find some items in my wardrobe are the WOW colours that I should be wearing, but I still have work to do on replacing the other ones- over time ! Hi Helen, Now that I have completed my House of Colour classes with you I would like to thank you for changing my whole outlook. Even after the first Colour class the change in me was remarkable and so many people noticed the difference, I am more confident and always feel good about myself and what I am wearing, even on my " off days ". James loves the " new " me and you are right about it saving money in the long run ( which he also loves ) as I now only buy what suits my colours and personality. The biggest transformation in me though is that I wear make up practically every day now rather than on the odd occasion when we go out. This has been a revelation but I love it !. My colour analysis class with Helen really blew my mind ! I was not sure it was really my 'thing' and had no idea what to expect but I certainly did not expect to have so much fun ! Helen put me at my ease straightaway so I didn't feel self conscious at all. The process of finding 'my' colours was such an eye-opener. As well as identifying colours I should never wear, I have discovered the ones that really suit me- some that I have never worn and would never have considered in a million years-and rediscovered some that I wore when I was younger but seem to have forgotten about. It's so easy to become somehow diminished when you get older- it is fabulous to discover how to become truly visible again and feel confident doing it. The wallet of colour swatches I came away with is fantastic- I can now check anything I try on or buy against it to make sure I have chosen the best colour combination for me. I have already turned out clothes which I now realise just drained me and took up valuable wardrobe space. The number of garments I own in flattering, vibrant shades is slowly growing and I actually look forward to choosing what I'm going to wear. I've always worn eye make up but tended to avoid lipstick- it turns out that I have just never tried the right shades and now I'm wearing it almost every day. I would not hesitate to warmly recommend Helen's colour analysis to anyone of any age- I should have done it years ago ! Best Maggie

I was struggling to find clothes and colours to suit me; I realised that I needed a smart/casual style, and, as I don't have an unlimited budget, clothes which would be suitable for work and going out with family and friends. I always seemed to be struggling to find something suitable to wear!
I decided to consult Helen Redhead at House of Colour; I had a colour analysis and style class, which were really interesting and enjoyable. Helen was able to advise on make-up, and I am very pleased to have found House of Colour lipstick and blusher, which are easy to use and suit my skin.
Then, due to pressure of work, I did not get round to shopping for clothes, so asked Helen if she would help me with this. Seeing at first-hand how Helen used the colour swatch to pick out clothes in the nearest colour-way was brilliant. Helen's practical approach put me at ease; she is professional, yet relaxed and friendly. What I liked about shopping with Helen was that I didn't feel under pressure to buy anything I wasn't sure about.
