Amanda Presswell image consultant and personal stylist for St Albans / Welwyn Garden City/Harpenden/Hatfield
Hi, I’m Amanda and I have successfully run and owned the St Albans, Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City Btookmans Park and Cuffley House of Colour business. With my Associates Alex Shoobert and Linda Lach-Szyrma we support people just like you to be the best version of themselves.
Feeling confident everyday shouldn't be a gift, it should be the absolute start of everyday, it’s your right to feel amazing and to recognise how fantastic you are, right now.
Many of us lead busy lives, working, thinking and putting others first and a whole host of things I'm sure you can add to this list however we can do these things and take care of us too.
One small way to for you to feel great about yourself, to boost your confidence, to give you the oomph to jump start each and every day, to feel good, confident, happy, joyful, content, exhilarated, alive is to spend less time worry about what to wear each day and to know without the slighted hesitation that today you are going to be at your best.
Find out what Colours work for you and wear them, have a wardrobe that is full of items that complement each other and of course you, know how to accessorise and how to wear your hair and then get on with your day, being the fabulous person, you are.
I run individual colour analysis, personal style classes in the comfort of your home to support both men and women to become ‘better versions of themselves’. I provide the practical advice and skills needed to think differently about how you present yourself on the outside…so it reflects more of who you are on the inside.
Being ‘seen’ and ‘visible’ isn’t just important in building our own confidence, it also role-models the right behaviors needed for the next generation to get ahead in life too. I'm a big believer in creating visible role-models for our children/pupils/colleagues to look-up to, so that they have the confidence to stand-up and be counted when it’s their time to shine.
So, as we all have to get dressed in the morning, we believe in starting every day the right way – looking good and feeling great about ourselves. It’s an empowering feeling that can lead us to success in everything that we do – not to mention saving us time and money!
How we do it is by teaching you to become your own Personal Stylist in two steps:
Find out how to make the most of your wardrobe, learn what style of clothes work for you, find out how to accessorise to make an outfit look amazing, discover your best hair styles, what shoes, belts and bags are right for you and of course develop the confidence to shop without making any costly mistakes.
Amanda Presswell - House of Colour St Albans
If you have ever considered training to be a House of Colour Consultant yourself - this is the perfect opportunity. I am now looking for new people to join our growing team and to help look after our wonderful clients.
ing a House of Colour Consultant is a decision you will not regret. Being able to choose how much and when you want to work is your choice, do as little or as much as you like.
I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that having my colours done has made a real difference. I have invested in some new pieces in my colours and am much more confident wearing bolder, brighter shades of my lovely autumn colours (which I have always leant towards) and have recently branched out into patterns within my colours too. I get lots more compliments and people always tell me I'm one of the smartest mums in Harpenden!
