| Hello. My name is Wendy Jacobs and I am the House of Colour Consultant for Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and Cape Cod. I welcome clients at my studio on Martha’s Vineyard for color analysis and personal style, classes. Other services include wardrobe decluttering and personal shopping.
Your Personal Journey
Using world renowned color theory and proven processes, I will identify the colors and styles that suit you, so you can project the very best aspects of your appearance to the world. You will walk out of my studio, both excited and re-energized having learned what colors and styles make you look your best - slimmer, healthier, and younger, a fantastic boost to your self confidence.
You'll be amazed how quickly you will find your own unique style being able to put outfits together successfully and with ease. Never again will you utter the words “I have nothing to wear” as you will build a wardrobe of clothes which you love to wear and look great in. You will be confident with new colors, understand what to buy first, save money, but most importantly feel confident and look fantastic.
How the service works
Clients usually start their personal journey with the color analysis class and then they progress through personal style and make-up classes next.
Each House of Colour class is designed to ensure that every client gets the individual attention they need, combined with the added benefits of working within a small group of 2,3 or 4 clients. Many clients thank me for "a wonderful day out" having enjoyed the social occasion as much as the color and image journey itself.

I run color, personal style, and make-up workshops regularly, including Saturdays, in my studio on Martha’s Vineyard. Come along with your friends, or join two or three others in a group that I've put together. You will be glad you did.

Wow! What a wonderful experience to do a colour analysis with Wendy. She brings her great combination of "science, art and psychology" to the process. In the consultation she explains the theory behind the colour analysis and the method she uses to find "your best colours" . This paired with the logical explanation of how this will help you look better, save time and even impact your professional career keeps the Left side of your brain satisfied. Then the actual colour discovery process is fun and fascinating, this is the art part. Along the way her positive and energetic personality helps you embrace your colours with confidence, this is the psychology part. The way I described it to some friends is " it is a like your personal What not to Wear but without the nasty comments from Stacy and Clinton"
It is not a overstatement to say the consultation has changed how I look at colour not only for clothes but for everything. I use my colour wallet for everything now and have found that shopping it is so much easier, no more guessing.
Now, I can't wait to do my style analysis when she visits DC.

"What a fantastic day yesterday; I just wanted to thank you again. Ann and I are old friends ( "old" in more ways than one) and you gave us so many memories! As I told you, my mother has an in-law suite on my house and we simply could not stop yacking to her this morning about all our discoveries yesterday. My mother is a real color expert in her own right, and she thinks you were spot on with your conclusions. (She always insisted I was an autumn, even though she and my sister are much lighter). I always believed I was as pale as the rest of my family; I guess I got my olive-y skin from my grandmother from Ireland! Ann and I both bought new lipsticks today, too (Ann bought peach nail polish to replace her now verboten mauve); I'm still having trouble getting used to the bright shades, but my mother insists that bright lipstick is a real improvement for both of us! Thanks so much again for such a fun, informative and inspiring morning yesterday! When I went home I should have gotten to work practicing for some upcoming gigs, but instead I went right to my closet and started cleaning out - it was SO much fun! Then today I took 4 bags of clothes to the Thrift Shop, and a few to Salvation Army - wow does that feel good. Steve loved hearing all about it - loves the makeup and has marveled at the autumn colors. Neither of us would have ever guessed I was Autumn, but I have to tell you, though I never paid much attention to those colors, I love them! I'm actually glad it turned out that way! I ordered my first top in a chart color. And now I look through more educated (hopefully!) eyes at nature's fall beauty!
