A Journey with House of Colour
I came across House of Colour in my late 20s thanks to a work colleague who was transformed by the colours and clothes she wore. I signed up for the Colour Class too and I've never looked back! I had shied away from wearing anything green for years, due to the legacy of a bottle green school uniform, only to discover that my Wow colours included sea green and jade.
I went on to do the Personal Style Class, which was amazing. It was packed with information including what style jackets and tops would suit me, types of skirts and what length to wear them, right down to advice about belts and bags.
The third stage was doing the make-up class. I'd always enjoyed wearing make-up but I wasn't sure how to glam it up for a night out, so it was wonderful to be shown what to wear for a natural daytime look, plus have the confidence to be able to create a look for a special event.
A year or so later, I attended a Style Development Day, which is the advanced class that really brings all your style learning together.
Subsequently joining House of Colour as a consultant, I reckon that I have one of the best jobs in the world; helping my clients discover how to look and feel wonderful both on the inside and out.
Classes
Classes are held in my studio at Burton Bradstock, 2 miles out of Bridport, on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

Step 1 - Colour Analysis £99
In this inspiring session you will discover the particular blend of colours that will be in the closest harmony with your eye colour, skin and hair tone. This class will fill you with a renewed sense of excitement and self confidence. You will know what works for you, why, and so avoid wasting time and money buying the wrong clothes or accessories.
Step 2 - Personal Style Class £130
This enlightening day will help you to discover the clothing shapes that best suit your body's natural lines that enhance your individuality and help you to feel relaxed and confident. You will take away a personal workbook with helpful notes and tips about creating a quality capsule wardrobe.
Step 3 - Make Up Class £40
In this hands-on session I will show you the secrets of expert skincare and how to apply make-up skilfully and subtly to achieve a healthier glow and a warmer smile. There is plenty of time to experiment with your new colours!
Step 4 - Style Development Day £125
Take part in this advanced class that takes all your style learning to another level. Discover your best necklines, patterns and fabrics, and try new colour combinations. Includes a Fashion Update for your clothing personality.
Also available are Fast Track Style, Kids Colours, Scarf Tying Classes, Shopping Trips and Wardrobe Decluttering Sessions.
