House of Colour Naturals, Paraben Free, Skincare Range

At House of Colour we are very proud of our skincare range – Naturals, which is specially formulated for us by an internationally renowned team of cosmetologists based in Surrey.  As the name demands, all the raw ingredients are sourced naturally, with as many as possible being used in their ‘fresh’ state - not dried or frozen.  The most important of these is Royal Jelly which goes into every product.  We are also proud to announce that the Naturals range is now Paraben-free.

Parabens are preservatives that ensure your creams stay fresh and effective for as long as possible, but doubts have been raised over their safety, which has obviously led to concern amongst manufacturers and consumers - and because we want the best for you we took them out! The entire range is now stabilised with natural ingredients.

The range contains two cleansers, the heart of any skincare routine.  Regular cleansing, twice a day, with a good cleanser applied with gentle massaging movements using your fingers and removed with a tissue or damp cotton wool, is the secret of a healthy skin.
Rich Soothing Cleanser is a delicious creamy formulation containing thyme, Royal Jelly and honey and is perfect for dry, sensitive and mature skins,  with just a hint of rose to provide a luxurious and relaxing cleansing experience.  Our Refreshing Deep Cleanser, lightly fragranced with thyme, is just what combination or oily skins need to remove any make-up or just what the day has left on our skin.  Containing chamomile and lemon, this provides a stimulating deep cleanse leaving skin smooth and soft.

Once a week, after cleansing, exfoliate your face, neck and chest with Naturals Gentle Complexion Smoother. This double action exfoliant, containing pomegranate seed powder and kiwi seeds, delivers a superior skin polish without scratching the skin. The pomegranate is a natural pure antioxidant which helps skin regeneration and Aloe Vera combining with Royal Jelly help increase the strength of surface tissue.  The perfect way to ensure dead skin cells are removed, ensuring your skin benefits from deeper absorption of the nutrients in the Naturals range.

Follow cleansing with our Moisture Active Toner.  Suitable for all skin types, this lovely fresh toner containing grape juice extract mixed with rose petals not only removes any last traces of dirt or make-up from the skin’s surface, but tightens the pores preparing the skin for the rest of the skincare routine. Grape extract improves skin texture and is balancing, soothing and cooling. Many people don’t realise that toning is a vital part of the moisturising process.  A good toner like this will attract moisture to the skin surface and hold it there. So don’t skip this part of your regime if you want your skin to stay supple and young looking!

If you’ve never tried Naturals Aromatic Soothing Mask, you’ve missed out on a real treat!  This amazing mask contains camphor which warms the skin to open the pores and promote a really deep clean.  The mask also gently removes dead surface cells while rosemary oil and vitamin E rejuvenate, soothe and revive the skin.  The healing process is aided by the natural antiseptic qualities of honey and Royal Jelly and pure aromatic oils soften the skin’s surface.  So find yourself a quiet comfy corner, perhaps the bath, put your feet up and unwind for 10 minutes before removing with warm water and a face cloth.  This mask works equally well as a pick-me-up used in the shower in the morning but remember to take your face cloth with you! Remove any last traces of the mask with a cotton wool pad soaked in Moisture Active Toner.

After the toner apply your day cream.  This is essential to ensure your make up looks great.  We have three day creams in the Naturals range so that whatever your skin type, you can ensure your skin is protected from pollution and the elements and your skin is prepared to ensure your make-up will look great.  If you have normal or oily skin, try the Skin Refining Day Cream which leaves a slight matt finish and ensures your make-up won’t be spoilt by any excess oil your skin produces.  Dry skin will really benefit from the rich composition of Naturals Skin Support Day Cream.  Leaving a slightly dewy finish, this comforting cream ensures your make up never becomes flaky or wears off.  Those with mature skin should give the Intense Active Day Cream a try.  This completely new product has a rich, nourishing formulation containing marine collagen and exotic hyaluronic acid, which combined with Aloe Vera leaf juice, rejuvenates and renews tired and mature skin.

After moisturising in the morning your skin is ready for our newest addition to the range our Revelation Primer is exactly what it says it is – a REVELATION!  Containing marine collagen and hyaluronic acid, this primer is smoothed on after your day cream and in preparation for your make-up.  It offers a perceptibly smooth effect giving a feel of indefinable luxury, smoothing away fine lines and wrinkles and providing the skin with long lasting moisturising and great flexibility and elasticity. If you are concerned with the effects of ageing try the Intense Energising Cream either once a week as a booster or as a replacement moisturiser or night cream for 5 to 7 days for an intensive skin rescue. The energising cream has jasmine as its most active ingredient.  This will improve the elasticity of the skin, whilst promoting healthy cell renewal, is a must for all skin types and a real winner in the battle against ageing. This can be applied either in the morning or at night.

The delicate skin around the eye area needs special attention and from the age of 25 (at the latest) Replenishing Eye & Lip Cream should be applied morning and night to help reduce the appearance of fine lines.  A tiny amount patted around the socket line using your ring fingers and then gently worked into the skin under the eye, moving towards the nose rather than pulling the skin out towards the corners of the eye will ensure the skin is nourished as the finely spun cream is easily absorbed. The Replenishing Eye & Lip Cream is also wonderful at combating fine lines around the lips, and again should be applied morning and night before your day cream or night cream.

Naturals Nourishing Night Cream is designed to work with your skin while you are relaxed and your body is in repair mode and is especially suitable for those with mature or dry skin. Applied to the whole face and throat after cleansing, toning and applying eye cream, the rich silken textured moisturising cream will actively feed your skin producing an improved surface texture as it holds moisture to the skin. Silk fibroins and fresh royal jelly ensure a healthy glow and superb results.
