Welcome to my web site. I am an image consultant and stylist based in Leicester and I love my job. I love showing people how to make the most of themselves.
We are far more attractive than we think we are. We all have the potential to look great all the time - it is just a case of knowing how.
And I would love to help you find out how.
How it works:
We all have a unique skin tone and eye colour. This means that some colours make you look great whilst others will make you look older, tired, washed out and generally less vibrant and healthy. We each have a unique body shape too, which means some styles work, whilst some don’t.
And we each have a distinct personality, which means that whilst some clothes ‘are you’, others are simply wrong.
If we don’t understand our best colours, the ‘right’ style or which clothes are right for our personality, then we can end up with some or all of these common problems…
* A wardrobe full of clothes, but nothing to wear
*A lack of confidence when it comes to shopping for clothes
*Not knowing exactly what to put on in order to look your best for every occasion
*Wasting money on clothes which you then never use
*Little confidence about your appearance
The good news is that it doesn’t have to be like that for you. If you do the Colour Analysis, Image and Make Up classes, you will join the thousands of people from all walks of life who have benefited from House of Colour’s help throughout the UK for the last 21 years.
Mélanie’s Background
I worked in documentary television for 10 years so I know the importance of looking good. Moreover, I am the daughter of an Image consultant.My mother, who is French and was a Biba girl in the 1960s, had a natural flair for clothes but wanted to know more, so she trained with House of Colour nearly 20 years ago. Not only did it change her life, I saw her transform the lives of others. When, after starting a family,I decided to look for a new challenge, this experience persuaded me to become an image consultant too. Having loved working in television, now I teachpeople to make the most of themselves, which she loves even more.
My philosophy is that we are all far more attractive than we think we are and the key is finding a personal style that makes us look better and feel confident.
I am also available for talks and presentation.

The House of Colour publishes a fashion update twice a year to help make your life easier. It tells you about the current looks, the season's colours, identifies in detail which of the styles will work for you. After reading it you will feel like an informed and clued up women when you next go shopping.

IMAGE CLASSES: £120 per person

A whole day - this is where we get to grips with your shape, your clothing personality and much more! Yours to take away a work book and notes.
MAKE-UP CLASSES: £35 per person
20/9/8 start 9.30 am 15/11/8 start 9.30 am
Three hour practical class - where you will learn about skincare and how to apply make-up to look 'finished'.
OTHER CLASSES AND INFORMATION
Mélanie can be flexible - especially if there is at least two of you - with enough notice so please let her know if there is a particular date that you want for a class.
As well as colour, Make-up and image classes, Mélanie does Men's Image classes (£195 per person), Wardrobe Reveiw and Declutter (£40 per hour),Shopping trips (£40 per hour) and Kids classes. Please contact her for dates and prices.
The complete package - Colour class, Image class and Make-up class - if booked together is £225 (saving £20)
