| I have been wanting to write
a letter of thanks to you for some time now, and after having
just completed the survey questionnaire for House of Colour.
I felt I should carry on the sentiments already penned!
Well, what a journey!! I truly feel at peace
with myself, something never before attainable, always searching,
yet never understanding, at last, I feel comfortable within
my own skin and have true self acceptance – but actually like
myself too!
A lot of unanswered questions have been laid
to rest-now I feel I just would like to be where I want with
regards to the clothing in my wardrobe!!
I do however, realise that this takes time and
am only just beginning to buy things that I truly love and
feel are a true reflection of my ‘personality’.
The best part is to realise that it’s OK to
be me! not spending my life wishing I was a skinny blond,
a size 10 (though that would be nice!) or even to be able
to go brown in the sun!! (instead of being permanently white!!)
I accept now, that this is what makes me – who I am!! And
for the whole experience – I truly thank you! I know it is
your chosen profession, but even so it’s the sort of work
that requires a lot of giving- emotionally and verbally.

It was good to feel that I was not being “self
indulgent”. But embarking on a journey that will save time,
money and wasted effort.

It was about 10 years ago that I did (both colour
and style) and I can honestly say they had a dramatic impact
on my confidence and self-esteem, which has stayed with me
ever since.

It is like being part of a “Club”. It certainly
was the best personal development exercise I have ever undertaken.

Having had a baby, I fell into rushing about
and not taking time for me. Recently went to a colour class
which inspired me and encouraged me to get “out of the rut”
I was in.

As soon as my wardrobe came “in line “ with
my correct colours & personality I started to get remarks
like – you look well etc. Just like magic!!!

Friends say I look 10 years younger – so that
can’t be bad.
