Luscious Lips
There’s nothing like a bright smile and sparkling eyes to encourage others to interact with you and if you’ve done your House of Colour Colour Analysis class you’ll know that gorgeous lipsticks in your 3 ‘points of red’ can help you achieve this.
It’s always exciting on a Colour Class, client after client is amazed at the difference wearing the right colour lipstick makes, as the others in the group are transformed in front of their eyes. Generally, the brighter the lipstick, the better our eyes look and we always want to see you, our clients, looking amazing. Looking ‘OK’ just isn’t good enough for you! But we also know there are occasions when we need a softer look, so we’ve put together a strong, dynamic lip look for every point of red and a gentler alternative.
So find your season and pick up some top tips for making your lips look their best, whatever you’re wearing.

Winters do Bright Pinks with Panache: For impact try P35 Magenta lip liner and fill in with No.678 Fuchsia Violet lipstick.
For a softer version leave the lipliner out, dab a tiny touch of No.674 Purple Pout onto the lips with a finger and cover with High Shine Clear Gloss for a totally natural look that still has enough colour to make your eyes shine.

Beautiful Burgundy. For a delicious deep look try P49 Blackberry lip liner filled in with No.512 Burgundy Lipstick and topped of with No. 56 Plum Lip Gloss. |
For a gentler alternative we suggest keeping the P49 Blackberry lip liner and applying No.50 Soft Burgundy Rose lipstick with a brush. Blot well. Beautiful!
Grown Up Reds are always fashionable and always make us look amazing. Winters wanting to strut their stuff could go for a delicious matt look using P40 Clear Red liner to give definition to the lips and fill in with No.27 Carmine lipstick. Blot and apply a second coat.
If you’re wearing red clothes and want your make-up to be in harmony, but don’t feel in the mood for such a statement try No.496 Raspberry Red with a coat of High Shine Clear Gloss. It won’t dodge the issue but will feel less dramatic.
Using No.682 Cool Shimmer on top of your lipstick is another way to soften any of your Winter brights.

No. 686 Soft Sweet Pink lipstick with a hint of No 64 Cool Lilac gloss gives a natural version of the same
look, ideal for those chill out days, country walks and gym visits.
Ravishing Rose for Summers. Despite your lovely soft palette of colours you Summers still needs a definite colour on the lips to look your best. For your Rose look we recommend P51 Antique Rose lip liner and No.2 Rose Madder lipstick.

For a softer option use a touch of No.495 Musk Pink, dabbed on to your lips with a finger and then use High Shine Clear Gloss to finish off.
Your Cheery Cherry Reds always look stunning. For maximum impact outline your lips with P40 Clear Red liner and apply 2 coats of No.28 Cherry lipstick with a brush, blotting in between.
A slightly softer option is to leave out the liner and using a brush apply 1 coat of No.37 True Summer Red to your lips, blot gently and then finish with No.73 Crystal Pink lip gloss which softens the red giving a lovely healthy glow.
Using No.682 Cool Shimmer lipstick gives you an alternative softening effect with any of your Summer colours and is a must have in your make up bag.
