Want to look good and feel great?Then look no further!I was first introduced to colour by my mother in law some years ago. " You always look lovely " she would say " but have you ever thought of wearing something else other than black?" I think it was her way of telling me that black did not suit me! She has been a House of Colour client for nearly 20 years and always looks good but of course we dont always listen to our mother in law do we!!?

A few years ago a friend suggested we have our colours done. I had by now introduced powder pink and baby blue into my wardrobe thinking the latter went with my eyes. I was sure I was getting it right! How wrong I was! As soon as Kath put the bright drapes of spring onto me it was so clear what I needed! Out went the pastels and in came turquoise,bright blue,corn yellow,poppy red ( what? I can wear red??). Wow! My eyes became bluer and my skin looked warm and healthy. I could not believe the difference it made!I then put on the Spring make up to complete the look.The awful pearly pink lipsticks just had to go! I loved the new me in coral and warm red.

Now I knew black had to go too!That was the bit that unnerved me.That was until I wore it one night and everyone asked if I was feeling ok. Was I tired etc! The compliments I had got used too in my new colours no longer came. The next day I let go.....so 5 bin bags later....

Do you know that someone's impression of you in formed within the first 15 seconds of meeting you? Life is too short not to make the best impression first time. Maybe it will help you get that promotion you aways wanted or even that man/woman you always wanted! br>
