In 1989 when I first set out on the ‘House of Colour Journey’ I’d no idea it would be such a great catalyst. At the time my mother-in-law thought I'd 'gone mad' because I'd only wear certain colours, and you don't usually think of 'fashion advice' as a personal development course! But, like everyone before me, I haven’t looked back since.

It all began when I noticed some of the women at work always looked ‘just right’, and there were rumours running around the office that they'd seen an ‘Image Consultant’. When I plucked up the courage and asked them how they managed to achieve their ‘just right’ look day after day they were only too pleased to introduce me to House of Colour.

By following the advice given to me by my consultant I earned three promotions in five years - without changing the way I worked! You could say that what made the difference for me was that having been given the skills to always look my best I'd also been given permission to be comfortable with myself, and as a result my confidence grew. Rightly or wrongly, the way we dress has an enormous impact on both our personal and professional lives and we never get a second chance to make that all important first impression.

The first step for most clients is a Colour Analysis session (part one of your journey) during which we’ll identify your most flattering tones and shades. This makes quite a dramatic difference - immediately. I’ve seen clients instantly looking more radiant, younger and slimmer, even looking healthier - guaranteed. Once you’ve seen for yourself the tones and shades to wear to flatter your skin tones, eye and hair colour you’re ready to move on to your Image Day (part two of your journey).

I'd love to share with you the secrets of how to dress to suit your unique body shape and personality whilst building a wonderful yet attainable wardrobe specifically to suit you, your lifestyle and your budget. The main thing is you’ll leave me and will never think about your wardrobe in the same way again and you'll know how to look and feel fantastic every time you get dressed!

Do you have a wardrobe full of clothes yet still find you’ve nothing to wear?

I’ll show you how you can buy fewer clothes and have a smaller wardrobe – yet you’ll find you’ve much more to wear. Just to put your mind at rest - buying fewer clothes and having a smaller wardrobe isn't compulsory - those of you who enjoy buying lots of clothes and having a huge wardrobe will find you have even more choice! Whether you love shopping or hate it, ultimately you’ll save time and money whilst having fun developing your own individual style.

The finishing touch to your ‘journey’ is a Make-Up session (part three). We'll take a fresh look at how to cleanse, tone and moisturise then move on to apply make up to suit your colouring, bone structure and eye shape giving you an up to date, polished, finished look. I’ll make up one half of your face and you’ll match the other half so you have the opportunity to get some practice yourself in a friendly, ‘safe’ environment.

You’ll not be totally ‘In Focus’ until you’ve completed your Colour Analysis, Make Up Session and Image Day where these incredible secrets - and more - will be revealed! If you intend taking your first or even your next step and making this investment in yourself then don’t make any ‘big’ or ‘expensive’ additions to your wardrobe just yet!

Studio Location
My bright and airy studio is based at my home, only 1.2 miles from M60 Junction 17 (Prestwich/Whitefield) - approximately 20 minutes from Horwich, Bolton, Bury or Rochdale. You can park on the drive or directly outside the house.
