Hello, I am the House of Colour consultant for the Dorking, Leatherhead, Epsom and Ewell areas, and I run Colour and Image classes for women and men from my dedicated studio.
I love colour and style and really enjoy helping clients to identify how to create the best looks for them, to make shopping quicker, easier, more fun and overall less expensive! Besides looking great every day, clients find that they no longer have a wardrobe full of clothes that they never wear.
How it works
I run regular small group classes for colour, image and makeup and also men’s colour and image (see right for next dates). Classes are fun, friendly and interactive. Come along on your own, or with a friend.
Colour classes: Find out your own spectrum of colours and those which give you the “Wow” factor. Take away a leather wallet to carry when shopping and a workbook. Includes basic advice on make-up colours.
Make-up classes: Learn about skincare and current make-up techniques, how to create a quick and easy daytime look with advice on colour selection.
Image day: Find out how to choose the best styles and shapes for you, based on your body shape and clothing personality, what to look for when shopping and how to pick clothes every time which you will love to wear.
Men’s colour and image: Colour analysis and image combined into one session for men only to help with colour selection and identifying the best styles, both work and casual. Includes leather wallet and workbooks.
Style Development Day: For those who have done colour and image, this class develops your understanding of your colours and clothing personality with necklines, patterns, fabrics and colour combinations.

A little about me
My own journey began around 15 years ago when I was inspired by a presentation to have my colours done. I immediately reorganised my clothes, threw out the "browns" and started to wear some of my favourite colours in new combinations. Some items which had been bought because they were in fashion but didn't really suit me, went off to the charity shop for someone else with very different looks from mine. I learned that we are all different, and we have to bring out our greatest assets, rather than trying to look like someone else. Like magic, I found I was receiving more compliments and feeling the benefit of new confidence. The image class reinforced this sense of style and I realised why, as a Classic Gamine, I can sometimes look as if I've raided a dressing up box (with disastrous results). Now my shopping is far more pleasurable, and I treasure what I buy and wear.
My background is in personal, career and management development and the management of learning and development within large organisations, and I run a consultancy business working with individuals, teams and organisations.
When I am doing career coaching, I enjoy helping people to make the right choices for themselves and believe that we often need information to help us to do so. Learning about your colours and your style plays a vital part in developing the confidence that you are projecting the right messages, and will therefore improve your chances of success, whatever that means for you.
