Hello, I am Jo Dipple, the image consultant for Dorking, Leatherhead, Epsom, Ewell and surrounding villages. My own journey began around 15 years ago when I was inspired by a presentation at a business networking group and decided to follow it up and have my colours analysed. I learned that many of my favourite colours were in fact those which flattered me most, but also that other colours (bought because they caught my eye when they were in fashion), had the opposite effect on both my appearance and my mood. This helped me to organise my wardrobe and be able to put items together in a completely new way. Like magic, I found I was receiving more compliments and I discovered some new colours in my palette which I hadn't often worn before. For a while, my wallet went everywhere with me, to remind me of the exact shades.

Many years later, I found myself wondering what the image class might do to help me find my way around the often bewildering choice of clothes shops and styles without wasting money on "bad buys". So I booked my image class and realised that I should have done so much sooner. I had begun to lose my way in the many different dress codes of work, leisure, party and "smart casual" and never really felt great. I learned why some clothes might be in the right colour for me, but nevertheless did not suit me particularly, as they were the wrong shape for my shape or simply did not reflect my style and personality. They had been acquired because they were "useful" or they would "do ". Again, I picked up invaluable advice on how to look good, how to use accessories to best effect and how to refresh and develop my personal style.

My background is in personal, career and management development and the management of learning and development within large organisations, and I run a consultancy business working with individuals, teams and organisations.

When I am doing careers coaching, I enjoy helping people to make the right choices for themselves and believe that we often need information to help us to do so. Learning about your colours and your style personality is a vital part of developing confidence that you look your best and therefore paving the way to success, whatever that means for you.
