Hi, I'm Joan D'Olier, and I run my image and style consultancy in the Richmond, Kew, Barnes and Chiswick areas of west London.
I help my clients find colours and styles that make them look and feel wonderful whatever the occasion.
"Excellent sessions - Well worth the money" "I have had my eyes opened in the most gentle, supportive and professional manner" These are just some of the comments from my clients.
I went through the House of Colour experience as a client nearly 20 years ago. What a revelation that was! I found that many of the colours I had been wearing were wrong and that my most flattering styles were sharply tailored. No gypsy skirts for me! Armed with this knowledge I felt much more confident when shopping; it also helped me in the workplace. In my previous career in the City, I often had to attend meetings with very high-powered and influential people in their field. Knowing I looked the part in colours that complemented me, and styles that suited me, gave my confidence an enormous boost. I knew I'd made a good impression before I'd even opened my mouth.
And it wasn't only in my business life that it was useful. I learned that at the week-ends the jeans that I habitually wore had to be well-fitting and well cut, while the top or jumper had to skim my figure. On the other hand, my friend who came with me on this journey looked good in floaty skirts and loosely cut trousers.
We're all different; we're all individuals. When you've done your colours and image you'll be amazed at how much you've learned about yourself. This is all part of the journey of self discovery - finding colours and clothes that reflect who you are as well as what you are.
Let me help you on that journey. I get a tremendous kick out of seeing my clients discover that they are far more attractive than they'd ever given themselves credit for.
I run colour, image, and make-up workshops regularly, including Saturdays, in my studio in Chiswick. Come along with your friends, or join two or three others in a group that I've put together. You'll not regret it.
Don't just take my word for it. "I found having my colours done a real kind of therapy. It makes you feel pampered, does wonders for your self esteem and self-worth." A client.
I'm also happy to spread the word by giving talks to groups of friends, fund raising events, dinners. Contact me for details. |
