Where are we?

Our studio is in Hyde near Stockport and literally 2 minutes from the M67 motorway which links to the M60.We can send you full directions when you book. Normally we work with small groups of 2 or 3. Larger groups can be accommodated by special arrangement and "one to one" sessions are also available.

Image Day

What are the right shapes and styles for you? Put together a wardrobe of clothes that works for everything you do! Learn how to spot which is the right item for you before you take it into the changing room! Understand how to buy fewer clothes but have more outfits to wear....and lots more.......ring to find out! Make up class

We can teach you how to achieve a natural look which is easy to do, looks professional and lasts. We can also show you how to adapt it for other looks.Great if you enjoy make up and perfect if you don't! Cost £40

Welcome to our web page! Ingrid says What a fantastic job! I can still remember when I had my own colours and Image "done" in the late eighties - last century even! I was amazed at the difference it made to my appearance and to my busy life and to that of friends who had the same experience.They had to join in as I kept going on about it and they saw the difference it made to me!I was a teacher and enjoying giving pupils confidence in themselves and their ability to learn. I thought that I would never want to give up teaching but I was captivated with the idea of becoming an Image Consultant. I decided to join House of Colour so that I could give others the experiences that I had loved. I have now worked with hundreds and hundreds of individual men and women helping them to look better, feel better and enjoy their clothes and their appearance to the full.You can read some of their comments at the bottom of the page. I love all aspects of my job whether it's working with private clients individually, in small groups or training in the corporate environment. I have worked with many companies to help everyone in the company to present a professional image. We all know that if we look professional, people will assume that we are and will feel confident in our abilities to do a good job or provide a good service.You never get a second chance to make a first impression and people buy people first! Catherine says I had my 'colours done' for a special birthday and I've got to say, it's been the best birthday present I've ever been bought! I sat and watched the other client in the class being transformed, as she had her colours analysed. I couldn't believe how different tones of colour could have such a dramatic effect! Some tones made her look brighter, youger and healthier, whilst others had the opposite effect! It was amazing! I couldn't wait to find out which group of colours would look the best on me! I had such an enjoyable day and continued to gain the benefits when friends complimented me on my appearance and on how well I was looking in my new 'winter' colours. I later booked onto an image class and gained a real understanding about my body shape and how to dress my proportions. I was intrigued to learn which clothing personality I am and this has really helped me to understand why some styles of clothes work really well for me and why I don't feel myself in others. The results of both of these classes was so great, that I was eager to learn more. I am now proud to say that I am a fully qualified House of Colour Image Consultant. I am fortunate that I've been able to combine the image work with my existing role as a physiotherapist. I work part-time in each job and love the satisfaction that I get from both.
