This is a three stage journey. If you do one of these three stages you will look better. If you do all three, you will look FANTASTIC - for ever! I am already looking forward to meeting you, because I know how much this 'journey' can help you - and it's fun!!! You will be amazed at what you will find out about yourself. At last you will KNOW what colours to put in your hair, how to co-ordinate your clothes with the right accessories and aren't you sick of death of fashions that don't look right on you, not to mention knowing which colours and how much makeup to wear? When clients arrive for their colour session, the first thing we do is sit down for a cup of tea or coffee and I ask them to tell me why they are here. (The following comments tend to indicate that clients are disatisfied with some aspects of themselves). This is what they say:

“My body has changed shape and I can’t wear what I used to wear”
“My skin tone has changed”
“I don’t know what suits me any more”
“I am sick of wearing black”
“Everyone else is sick of me wearing black”
“I want some colour in my wardrobe”
“I have lost confidence in myself”
“I hate shopping nowadays because everything is for the young or too frumpy”
“She made me come with her!!!”
“I can’t believe the difference in my friend since she has been to you – so I want a piece of that”

I find that clients are really kind and encouraging to each other. During an Image Day clients learn from each other as I work with each client in turn. They LOVE observing each other and really appreciate beauty in each other. The following statements show the growth towards appreciating others:

“oh, I’d love to have your body shape”
“what beautiful skin tone”
“you really suit your hair like that”
“what a difference when you move the hemline to . . . there”
“WHAT FAB SHOES”!!!
“would anyone in the room like this (garment) now that I know it’s the wrong colour and the wrong shape!!!???”
“But you’ve got great legs!!!”
“that neckline is definitely the best one for you”
“you look gorgeous in that”

A few weeks later when we get to the Makeup Workshop everyone is more relaxed and beginning to get used to feeling good. Finally they start to appreciate themselves again.

“I love this finished look”
“I won’t want to take it off tonight”
“That looks great" – and they are looking at themselves!!!!!
“Oh dear, I have not been doing it right at all”
“YOU LOOK FANTASTIC" (observing the finished result on a friend)

Then I see my clients for the advanced class called Style Development or at Open Days and other events. BY NOW THEY LOOK FANTASTIC. Their body langauge is completely different and they are really in touch with themselves because they KNOW they look great.
