Hi I’m Helen Smith, personal style and image consultant experienced in colour analysis, make-up and personal style advice covering Milton Keynes and Bedford. I started my colour and style journey with House of Colour as a client some years ago, and I can honestly say that the experience has transformed my life and my wardrobe forever.
I gained more confidence in 'myself' and what clothes to buy (after a lifetime of making those expensive mistakes) Spent less time shopping and saved a fortune! I soon learnt how to build a capsule wardrobe of wonderful clothes that mixed and matched, were suitable for different occasions and made me feel really good.
Now as a colour and style consultant I see the amazing transformation of my clients as they complete their personal journey, to looking and feeling more wonderful than they ever could have imagined. I truly love what I do and have achieved the House of Colour "Professional Excellence Certificate"and covetted "Star Consultant" award for the last four years.

Together we will identify the colours and styles that suit you, so you can project the very best aspects of your appearance to the world. You will walk out of my studio, both excited and re-energized having learnt what colours and styles make you look slimmer, healthier, and younger, a fantastic boost to your self confidence.
You'll be amazed how quickly you will find your own unique style being able to put outfits together successfully and with ease. Never again will you utter the word’s “I have nothing to wear” as you will build a wardrobe of clothes which you love to wear and look great in. You will be confident with new colours and styles, understand what to buy first, save money, but most importantly feel confident and look fantastic.
How the service works:
Step 1 Colour Analysis - £99
This inspiring class will help you find the colours that are in harmony with your own natural skin, hair and eye colour. It's amazing!. Learn which colours work for you so you can confidently co-ordinate fabulous outfits and accessories for all occasions.
Step 2 is the Personal Style Class - full day £130
If you have poor shopping experiences and even worse changing room ones then this is the class for you. You'll learn the shapes, styles, accessories, fabrics and patterns that work for you. Imagine going shopping and knowing exactly what to buy to make you look and feel wonderful so you can build a flexible and interesting capsule wardrobe to suit your lifestyle.
Step 3 is the Make-Up & Skincare Class - 3 hours £40
A hand's on session where you will discover the secrets of expert skincare and skillfully applied make-up. Learn how to apply make-up to compliment your natural colouring to look "naturally finished" rather than too made-up.
Book all three classes and benefit from our Complete Journey price of £250 (a saving of £19.) It really is the best way to look and feel fantastic, by learning how to invest wisely and make the right choices for you.
Each House of Colour class is designed to ensure that every client gets the individual attention they need, combined with the added benefits of working within a small group of 2,3 or 4 clients. Many clients thank me for "a wonderful day out" having enjoyed the social occasion as much as the colour and style journey itself.
Fast Track Personal Style Day- for men or women £380
If you prefer a bespoke 1:1 service then you can complete your Colour, Make-up and Personal Style journey all in one day. You will learn all you need to know to dress successfully for your colouring, shape and lifestyle.
A Wardrobe review or shopping trip can be added if required so we can complete your look together.

Other Services:
As a consultant I regularly provide other services such as Wardrobe Reviews and De-Clutters, Shopping Trips, Client review sessions which I provide at an hourly rate of £50.
