| I am Helen Norman the House of Colour Image Consultant for Rickmansworth, Northwood and Stanmore. I work from my studio in Rickmansworth seeing clients for Colour Analysis, Personal Styling, Make-up Classes and Mens Colour and Image. I also give public talks to businesses, schools, clubs, societies, etc on all aspects of personal image and styling as well as offering services such as shopping trips and wardrobe reviews.
I began my journey with House of Colour in 2001 when I had my colours done as a birthday gift from a friend.
It was quite a revelation to discover that I was a "Spring" and suited bright warm colours with gold as my best metal. Having spent many years wearing black, grey and white with silver jewellery because those colours looked good on other people and more sophisticated on the rails in the shops I was transformed.
Wearing the right colours made me look so much better and increased my confidence considerably and I started to receive lots of compliments. I found I became much better at shopping. I stopped buying clothes I never wore and began buying clothes in my colour spectrum and style, saving me lots of time and money. I reduced my wardrobe considerably creating a "capsule wardrobe" but found I had more to wear!. Getting dressed in the morning was no longer a chore because everything went together and made me look my best by working with my natural skin tone, eye and hair colour and with my body shape and personality. Knowing I look good makes me feel good and life becomes a lot simpler and more fun.
Now that I am an Image Consultant myself I am passionate about passing onto my clients what I have learnt and helping with their own transformation. My enthusiasm for this process inspires my clients and transforms their lives.
