I was really pleased to receive the gift vouchers, especially as I was treated to the full HOC experience.
The Colours Class was great, especially seeing everyone in 'their' colours, and the colours that didn't suit them. The contrast was extraordinary.

The best bit? I never have to never to wear black again! I was already trying not to, but when every shop sells every style in nothing but black, it is a bit difficult. Now if it only exists in black, I don't buy it!
The Image Class was most helpful to me. Not only do you end up with guidance for your body shape and physical attributes, you are shown the clothing shapes that suit your personality and lifestyle.

The Make Up Class was a great finale to the course. I remember being amazed when I asked how long it took to get 'made up' in the morning, and the reply was 'about five minutes'. Well, once you know what works and what doesn't, there isn't a reason to waste time, is there!

I would recommend the House of Colour sessions to anyone who is confused about fashion trends, wary of the styles available, worried that they may be dressing either too young or too old for their age, or just a little jaded with their current wardrobe. It is especially useful if you either have little time, or money, or both, to shop. You waste no time looking at the wrong items, and waste no money buying them either. In my own experience, walking into any shop, and immediately dismissing all the black saves hours. Or possibly days!

Many people feel completely comfortable in their own 'skin', but if you are confident about how you look, that is even better, and you believe that you can achieve anything. Perhaps there need be no apparent goal, but attending the courses is great fun, very enlightening, and for my part, one of the most enjoyable, illuminating and interesting things I have ever done.
