My personal journey
I was a Manager in the NHS for many years and often went to work feeling uncomfortable with the way I was dressed, wearing what I thought I should to try and ‘fit in’, with beige neutral tones and ‘frumpy’ suits.
I met up with a friend of mine who looked fantastic, and she told me about House of Colour. On her suggestion I made an appointment with my local House of Colour consultant and WOW – what a transformation!! I found out I was a Sultry Winter and should be wearing strong clear contrasting colours like emerald, fuchsia, electric blue, black, charcoal, navy, burgundy and forest green and best of all, I looked great in pink lipstick! I was rated in my colours and found out which were my absolute best.
How things changed at work; suddenly people were interested in my opinion, I started receiving compliments telling me how well I looked, asking whether I had been on holiday, had I been on a diet. It really boosted my confidence and within 6 months I had a much higher profile.
A few months later at my Image Class I discovered I was a ‘romantic classic’ which meant that I should wear classic clothes but with softer lines for work, going more ‘dressy’ at home to reveal the real me. Again this increased my confidence so I felt I could do anything I set out to do. People treated me differently and seemed to value what I had to say. What was even better was that I saved MONEY and TIME when I went shopping because I could easily ignore clothes that were not my colour or style, so REDUCED my wardrobe but in fact had MORE to wear!
I passed my ‘secret’ on to people I knew who went on to take the same journey. I was so inspired by the obvious changes not only in me but in them too, that I decided to train to become a consultant so that I could pass this knowledge on, to show others how powerful this journey of colour and image can be whatever your lifestyle. If you feel great and look your best you put a real value on yourself. Through my experience I learned that in order to reach your potential the best investment you can make is in yourself.

COLOUR CLASSES - £90 (Payment Plan available - please call for details)
This is the beginning of your exciting journey. In this class we look to see what colours suit you best for clothes, hair and make-up and your best personal colours will be rated. It makes shopping easier,and everything in the wardrobe will co-ordinate! The day starts at 9.30am and lasts half - three quarters of a day. You will take away with you a beautiful leather wallet with all your colours, a booklet and most of all confidence and excitement!

Using skincare products that really do work our Naturals range is based on Royal Jelly, natural oils and aromatheraphy ingredients that nourish and protect your skin. You'll enjoy a mini facial and learn how to skilfully apply your make up for a 'finished' rather than 'made-up' look using shades and products specifically for you. Classes start at 10.30am and last about 3 hours. You'll take away a booklet with your make-up shades and personal skincare advice.

Come along and discover clothes that best suit your body's natural lines, the language of clothes and how to budget and plan your wardrobe, and how to spend wisely! This session takes a whole day, you'll take away a personal workbook with notes and tips for creating a capsule wardrobe. Includes lunch and tea.
