Some time ago my family bought me a gift voucher to have my colour analysis done and then subsequently another gift voucher to have my image done - were they trying to tell me something? Did my family think I didn't know what suited me at my age!! I have to say after both events I could not thank them enough! I now only buy colours and styles that suit me - taking into account my personality, figure, and lack of height etc.
Looking back I suppose I was in denial for the first part of my image day but by lunchtime I was hooked! Since then I have not made any mistakes and have learnt to put colours and styles together that I would never have dreamt of doing previously. I no longer waste time time shopping for clothes that don't fit my image and I save money - yes, I save money. Buying the correct styles and colour means that I never end up with a skirt and not have anything to wear with it.
None of us can do anything about getting older but the styles in the shops are constantly changing, and I know that I want to feel smart and like all women I like to be complimented on the way I look. Now most people say how 'well' I look and this is due to looking good in the correct colours.
Although I embarked on my career change to House of Colour in recent times, I was no stranger to its life changing effects. My son-in-law Keith's 40th birthday present from the family bought him his Colour and Image Day.
