Whenever anyone asks me what I do, they always say “wow what a great job” and I have to agree, I get to meet so many different people all at different stages of their lives, the mum working at home with her children who knows there is more to life than jeans and a T-shirt, or want to know how to dress up their jeans! Women at work who feel uninspired by their wardrobe dominated by black suits, men who really want to know what SMART CASUAL is!!!! Men and women who have retired and still want to look stylish, important events like weddings the list is endless.....

My journey started when a friend asked me to go with her to have our “colours done” I didn’t really know what to expect but went along as my friend was so keen. I couldn’t believe how much difference it made wearing the right colours, I guess I was a bit of a sceptic!! But when people started to compliment me on my appearance I was converted. I remember doing my food shopping one Saturday, wearing a purple summer dress (really casual) and as I loaded my car with umpteen shopping bags (not my favourite pastime) a lady walked across the car park and said “I just had to come over and say how great you look” I felt fantastic all day, and couldn’t believe someone would go out of their way to pay me such a lovely compliment, it had never happened before. Now I hear stories like this from my clients and it feels amazing that they too are having the same experience that I had.

Following my Colour Analysis class, I went on to do my Image class, understanding exactly what skirts, trousers, tops and dresses I could wear and how to accessorise without feeling over the top. I felt much more confident choosing the right style of clothes for me and understanding why some things worked for me and why some things didn’t... it made life and shopping so much easier and enjoyable. My wardrobe is co-ordinated so I know I have something to wear whatever the occasion rather than panic buys that ended up hanging in my wardrobe never being worn!!

I finished my journey with a Makeup class, I had always liked the idea of wearing makeup but just wasn’t that sure about how to put it on... to my surprise it was much easier than I had expected!!

I just wanted to drop you a mail to say that it was lovely to meet with you recently & I have begun to "transform" my image. I have had so many comments from friends saying how I look "glowing", have I changed my hair? / commenting on my colours. I have worn my lipsticks & given my make up box a complete rehaul - long over due!!! I am so thankfull I had my colours and style done with you. It is such a relief to know that whatever I pull out of my wardrobe suits me. Even when I've had no sleep and look a little rough, if I put on one of my 100% colours, I still feel presentable. It still makes me laugh that people say how lovely my hair is even though I've got 6 months re-growth and haven't had my hair cut in six weeks!
